Recently named one of UK's fastest-growing tech firms, webuyanycar.com is bringing its business model to the U.S., starting in part with the Baltimore and Annapolis markets.
The new, non-franchised Baltimore- and Annapolis-area branches of webuyanycar.com employ local residents and managers who were not previously affiliated with the used car industry. Branches are located in Annapolis, Owings Mills, Rosedale and Elkton.
According to the company, what sets webuyanycar.com apart from dealerships and other services is that it purchases vehicles directly from the public without also trying to make a sale, facilitating a fast, low-pressure transaction in which the customer does not interact with an automotive salesperson.
"The concept for webuyanycar.com has been so successful with car owners in the UK, we wanted to offer the same popular service to car sellers in the U.S.," said a company representative. "We help Baltimore and Annapolis residents save the time and money it would take to sell a car on their own, or to a dealer that may not have interest in a particular make and model and offer a lower price."
A consumer can begin the process of selling a car through webuyanycar.com by first visiting the company's Web site and entering information about the automobile. The site then issues an online quote and an invitation for the seller to schedule an appointment at the nearest branch to continue moving forward on the transaction.
The Owings Mills branch is located behind Owings Mills Mall at 10451 Mill Run Circle, Suite 400, 410-654-3394.
The company plans to open new branches across the U.S. between now and early 2012.
This is a great convenience for Maryland used car owners. It is now that much easier to sell their vehicles at the maximum price possible before depreciation lowers it even more.

ReplyDeleteThis is indeed yet a very good business opportunity for the company. Used cars can now be conveniently sold with a better price before they get depreciated. Actually, I've been thinking of selling my old car recently. However, it made me realize that I previously got a poor credit rating. It's good to know though that my bank is offering a car financing for bad credit people like me. So, I think I should go and sell my used car in order to get a new one through a financing program.
