Image via WikipediaHunt Valley, MD--Systems Alliance, a firm that helps clients build, assess and optimize online properties, has launched a newly redesigned Web site for Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland.According to an announcement from Systems Alliance, the site's upgrade includes a visually refreshed design, more intuitively structured information and navigation, and mobile friendly content. Engaging prospective students more effectively was an important objective of the effort.
Michael Post, the university's vice president for enrollment management, noted, "Even with our vibrant spiritual community and US News and World Report Top 25 ranking, for Mount St. Mary's (and I believe most other universities), a student's experience visiting a school's Web site can make or break the admissions process. Recognizing the importance of this project, we chose Systems Alliance as our redevelopment partner, based on their industry experience and track record of building highly effective college Web sites."
To address the need for a more intuitive and engaging visitor experience, Systems Alliance provided usability consulting, visual design, and development of templates to optimize content for display on mobile devices.
Among the other clients of Systems Alliance, Inc., which was founded in 1993, are American Public University, the Baltimore County Government, Conde Nast, Johns Hopkins Institutions, Modell's Sporting Goods and Random House. In addition to their Hunt Valley headquarters, Systems Alliance has local offices in Georgia and Tennessee.
